Lustrum Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy is effective as of 27 August 2026.
Lustrum sets no cookies. That is the whole answer, and it is why there is no banner on this site asking you to accept anything. The rest of this page says what Lustrum uses instead, names every item of it, and explains what happens if you clear it.
2. What we use instead
Signing in stores a token in your browser’s own local storage. That is what keeps you signed in between visits.
The difference from a cookie matters and is not a technicality. A cookie is attached automatically to every request the browser makes to the domain that set it, which is what makes cookies useful for tracking. Local storage is not sent anywhere on its own: it is read by this site’s own code, and only when that code asks for it.
3. Everything we store, item by item
The complete list, rather than a gesture at one:
- Your session.
- The token that keeps you signed in, and who you are signed in as. Removed when you sign out.
- Your theme.
- Whether you chose light or dark, so the page does not flash the wrong one while it loads.
- Your sidebar.
- Whether you collapsed it.
- Your time zone and display preferences
- , so dates read the way your store reads them.
- Whether keyboard shortcuts are on.
- A local copy of recent weekly plans
- , so the app opens on your week instead of on a spinner while it fetches it.
None of it identifies you to anybody else, none of it leaves this site on its own, and none of it follows you anywhere.
4. Third parties
There are none on the page. No third-party analytics, no tag manager, no advertising pixel, no embedded video, no social widget, no font loaded from somebody else’s server, and no chat bubble.
Our infrastructure providers necessarily see the requests they serve, and what each of them does is listed in the privacy policy. None of them place anything in your browser through us.
5. Clearing it
Signing out removes the token. Clearing this site’s data in your browser removes everything on the list above, and the only effect is that you sign in again and the interface goes back to its defaults.
Blocking local storage for this site will stop you being able to stay signed in, because it is the thing that holds the session. Nothing else about the product needs it.
A private or incognito window works normally and forgets everything when you close it.
6. Do Not Track
Some browsers send a Do Not Track signal. Lustrum does not need to act on it, because there is no tracking here to turn off.
7. Changes to this policy
If what Lustrum stores in your browser changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top moves. This is a short document because the answer is short, and we would like to keep it that way.
8. Contact
Questions about any of this go to our contact form, and the fuller account of what Lustrum holds is in the privacy policy.
